Since christmas and my birthday came around, I've been inundated with body care products that I'm still making my way through now. This month I've been trying out a few new ones and some classics too. When it comes to body care products I tend to go for very fruity, fragrant smells because I love that lingering fruity smell on my skin that lasts all day. If ever you visit Lush, or The Body Shop, you'll get what I mean when I say that those stores smell like heaven; I go to my local Body Shop all the time, but I feel I need to pay Lush another visit soon!

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
Speaking of long lasting fruity smells, Soap and Glory's Sugar Crush Body Scrub is a gorgeous citrus smelling scrub that cleans and hydrates the skin. Unlike a lot of other body scrubs, this scrub is much runnier (due to the Almond and Macadamia oil) and much more gentle to the skin. The lime is very refreshing and smells wonderful (but isn't at all overpowering), leaving your skin even, smooth and well exfoliated. The design of the tub is also handy because you can easily scoop out the right amount into your hand and start using it; great for those who like to shower rather than bath (like me). If you're looking to get something that's great for exfoliating the skin, without irritation, then this light citrus scrub is perfect for you.

There's a long standing joke that whenever I go to Jack Wills I always end up buying beauty products rather than actual clothes or accessories. Despite aiming to buy some clothes last time, I ended up instead buying their Hope Cove Body Mist, a sweet smelling, delightful mist perfect for spring. I own a lot of body mists as you've seen from my last post, and I love using them combined with a fairly strong perfume. It not only keeps you smelling great for longer, but they complement most perfumes beautifully without overpowering them. The Hope Cove mist is very much the same, its a pleasant smelling base for any perfume you fancy wearing that day, and doesn't wear off immediately either.

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter
The one place I get the most gifts from is The Body Shop, hands down. I'm not complaining; its by far my favourite shop for beauty products what with the multitude of beautiful skincare, body care and makeup goodies to chose from. At the moment I'm using an all time favourite, their Strawberry Body Butter; a sumptuous, fruity hydrating cream that my skin adores. Whichever body butter you get from The Body Shop, they'll always be very creamy and rich in nourishing ingredients. There are so many flavours to choose from and I think the next time I shop about for a body butter, I'm going to try their new Wild Argan Oil moisturiser.

Bionsen Deodorant
Bionsen recently brought out their Caring Touch Aluminum Free Roll on Deodorant*, ideal for sensitive skin. I've always found my main issue with roll-on deodorants is seeing them on my skin once they've dried in. Bionsen's roll-on dries clear and ensures long lasting freshness throughout the day. Not only does it keep you fresh all day, but it also moisturises the delicate underarm skin. It's free of the usual nasties you get in some roll-on deodorants and does a fantastic job for just £2.35.

As you may have guessed Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel is a Christmas Limited Edition product, so it's unavailable until the end of the year *sigh*. I'm fortunate enough to have some left from my Lush christmas gift sets and I'm currently using it very sparingly as you can imagine. If you're really desperate to get your hands on some now, then there are lots of people selling brand new bottles on eBay, so head on down for a bottle if you can't wait (I would). If you hadn't heard of snow fairy until now then you've been missing out; its a sweet, bubble gum candy flavoured shower gel like you've never smelt before. Its, as all Lush products are, so delightful and leaves your skin smooth, hydrated and clean. Lush get dozens of enquiries about why it's not available all year round, so sooner or later they may make it available throughout the year, fingers crossed!

What are your favourite body care products at the moment? What kind of flavours/scents do you prefer?
