I recently had a huge makeup clear out/ organisation session and having put all my current palettes together, I thought it would be a good idea to do a collection post! Eye shadow palettes are by far my most favourite things to buy/have when it comes to makeup and although I don't have that many, my plans for the future are quite extensive (or I should say rather, expensive). I'm more of a matte girl, but I do like to include the odd shimmer now and again. My current, full eyeshadow palette wishlist is also included in today's post; I am so happy to share what palettes I've fallen head over heals in love with. What are your favourite eye shadow palettes? Tried any of mine?

My colour preferences are very obvious from what I currently own and I think it's really important establish your favourite range of shades to use on the eyes, but also have some that are a little more 'wild' or out of your comfort zone for those special occasions. For me a palette that sums that all up is Too Faced's Chocolate Bar. It has my go-to warm autumn tones; the light and dark brows, neutrals, toasty golds, peaches, burgundies and the all important brow bone highlight.

To top it all off, as I'm still discovering new and exciting ways to use this palette, I've recently fallen in love with the very light lilac shimmer shade which can be seen in the bottom right hand corner; its a perfect inner corner highlight, a makeshift cheek bone highlighter and a gorgeous shade to dust over an every day look to take it up a notch. I would say this palette, thanks to its fool proof application and pigmentation, is my go-to and the palette the truly taught me which shades to love and which shades suited me. Thank you Too Faced!

Before I talk about the glaringly obvious palette above (Kyshadow), I must redress my love for the one and only Carli Bybel and her BH Cosmetics hit palette that remains to this day, one of my all time faves. If you haven't yet purchased this highly affordable (see this post for shipping info) must-have palette then you are truly missing out. Among the 14 shades you'll find the perfect selection for every day and glam looks, as well as your favourite highlighter with 4 gorgeous options. One thing I didn't note before was my new found love for more purply shades, and that came thanks to this wondrous palette.

If you kept up with August's announcements on the blog then you would have noticed my post regarding Kylie Cosmetics' Kyshadow Bronze Palette and all the excitement that came with it. Long story short, I was somehow one of the lucky few who was able to buy a palette from its very first shipment along with her Dolce K Matte Liquid Lipstick. But, after using this palette for more than 2 months now, I can now put together my thoughts.

Pigmentation wise, Kylie's formula is incredible, she does not get enough credit for coming out with something of such quality on her first go; and needless to say the colours are just so me. The only downsides I've begun to notice are the clear issues with fallout, and despite setting spray, at the end of the day the shadows are just a faded mix of sorts. However, I do still highly recommend this palette (and the new one!) if you can get a hold of it.

If it weren't for their logo's on the front of the palettes, even I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Seventeen's Easy On the Eye Palette* and Sleek's iDivine Collection; just note that the Seventeen Palette I own (pictured above) is in the Birthday Suit edition and features more pinky, neutral tones, and the iDivine Palette in Enchanted Forest is that of a more dark, bold selection. The more recent addition to my collection came in the form of the gorgeous Easy On the Eye Palette from Seventeen (exclusively @ Boots) with Birthday Suit's neutral, everyday glam shades that are absolute musts. I use this palette all the time; pigmentation is great, there's little-to-no fallout, and it includes a very rare, magical pair of cream shadows with an eye primer.

Sleek's iDivine collection features so many different palettes to chose from, it's a wonder my sister was able to find one that I'd like. I couldn't have been happier to receive the Enchanted Forest palette  for my birthday this year, as it featured shades that I had yet to really discover/use before; but now my glam special occasion looks are so much more varied and eye catching.
