It's always been a dream of mine to own a pair of vintage sunglasses for summer. It's becoming more and more obvious that fashion these days is taking a lot of inspiration from the 60s, 70s and 80s as well as always channelling a touch of the 90s. Vintage sunglasses (whilst my history is almost always inaccurate) came around in roughly the 70's and are known as vintage nowadays for their circular retro look. I just love them. What a major throwback for summer 2015! Thanks to The Glasses Shop the Seyne Round Sunglasses* in Tortoise were the perfect pair to channel a vintage look this summer. What are your favourite sunglasses?

What I love about retro sunglasses such as these is their versatility; whilst you can complete the look with a 70s style outfit, they also go so well with whatever summer clothes you choose to wear, modern or not. The Seyne Round sunglasses' gold detail and tortoise pattern on the rims remind me of a cross between classic London chic and sunglasses you'd see on That 70s Show, a combination that I'm loving this summer. With The Glasses Shop, if you wear normal glasses, your prescription can easily be applied to any glasses you purchase.
My new vintage sunglasses have quickly become a summer staple for me this year and it's only just the beginning. As you know I live in England and the weather isn't always that great, but this year I think us Brits are getting lucky in terms of sunshine and tan worthy weather! The glasses will be perfect on the beach during the holidays and this year my holiday destination is France. J'ai h√Ęte! Be sure to check out their store to find your perfect summer pair or channel the vintage look with me. Keep posted on my Instagram for holiday pics!

Where are you going on holiday this year? What are your favourite types of glasses for the summer?
