Other than sticking with my go to Foundation combo (Bourjois 123 Perfect + Clinique Beyond Perfecting), my face powders and additional creams are always changing, and I'm constantly adding and interchanging new gems in the collection. This time of year I find myself adding a few more creams to the line-up as to not make my face too matte or dry looking; but I still have some of my go-to powders partnered with Mac's Fix+ for that extra dewiness. What I love about winter makeup is how you can afford to make the layers slightly thicker, and play around with concealer/foundation/powder combinations to achieve a flawless finish. I can't wait to explore more! What is your winter line-up like?

The new powder party: I am such a huge fan of Rimmel London and their classically gorgeous kits and products for flawless makeup. Another genius product with frequent collaborator Kate Moss, the Sculpting Palette by Kate* is the easiest way to do the last three step finish quick and simple. I love the concept of all three products being easily applied, and the highlight is probably my favourite part. For just under £7 you're getting a simple, handy compact palette with everything you'll need.

The Concealer: I have a lot to say as regards to my current concealer of choice. Recently I got a sample of the Taste Shape Tape Concealer and I was in shock. Not only did I realise why its sold out everywhere and probably the most raved about concealer since Nars' Creamy Concealer came out; but it's Tarte's concealer that shocked me when compared to my Urban Decay Naked Skin. I now find the Naked Skin concealer has hardly any coverage and it's a little watery/thin in comparison to some of the best out there! For now I'll stick with this, but I definitely will be changing it soon.

The Sleek holy-grails: By now you'll know I am a Sleek Makeup obsessive, and I'm always adding more of their products to my collection. My current go-to's include; Life's A Peach Blusher, a gorgeous subtle peach blush; Face Contour Kit, you've seen this many times before, it's a must have; and the newest addition my baby, the Precious Metals Highlight Palette. I've talked a lot about the first two palettes, but Precious Metals being the latest Sleek addition, I've not said much to date. I absolutely adore this palette, its colours are perfect for me, and so many other skin tones and preferences. I use the powder shades to highlight my cheek bones, cupids bow and on the brow bone. The cream highlight can also be used for those things, but I love to use them for my inner corner and it stays all day!

On the subject of pressed powders, I have my usual Sephora 8h Mattifying Powder for a clean, effortless finish to the skin. I usually set my whole face with this powder, and add a little extra under the eyes to set my concealer. During winter, I like to stick with a light layer of this rather than baking because I don't want to dry my skin out. This powder works perfectly with a number of settings sprays, I'm a Mac Fix+ junkie but NYX's dewy finish spray is a great guaranteed set for your makeup with a dewy finish that doesn't dry your skin out. All in all this powder is perfect for everything I need this season.

What are your current face powder/creams line-up? Use of any of mine?
